So i'm playing on Seals With Clubs last night and the following hand came up. I had been doing well and was up 1.5 buyins, I called a small raise to 3chips in late position with 78o. Three of us saw the flop of 569 with two diamonds. First player bet out 7 chips and was called by the second player. I reraised all-in to 47. When the first player called I figured I would have to dodge a diamond on the last two cards for my hand to hold up. The second player folded and when the cards turned over I discovered that I was safe on the diamonds as my opponent had Q9o. The turn gave me a little scare with a Q giving my oponnent some outs for the river, but when the river bricked I collected a nice pot.
I think my play was reasonable, my intent was actually to get my opponents to fold, not to win a huge pot, but I put a lot at risk with no possibility to improve my hand. Thankfully, I didn't need to.
