I've complained at least once before about the lack of availability of Midnight Alley by Rachel Caine (and while I'm at it, let me reiterate my desire to have Devil's Due on Kindle as well) Ok. I'm getting used to the idea that it's not going to be available, and since I generally don't read physical books anymore, I haven't even managed to read the latest Grisham book even though I've had it for months and I love John Grisham, I'll probably just give up on the series. It sucks because I enjoyed it, but life goes on. Loss of enjoyment for me, loss of revenue for the publisher. Anyway, I find out that book 4 in the series, Feast of Fools, has just been released in a Kindle edition. On the same day as the physical release, unlike Blood Noir by Laurell K Hamilton and From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris in the last month, so good job Signet on that at least. Of course I'm still missing book 3, so I'm pretty unlikely to buy book 4.... Besides, it just offends my sense of order that books 1, 2 and 4 are available. Bring me book 3!
Also, since I mentioned Blood Noir, I'd like to complain about this book breaking the 9.99 standard price for Kindle books currently available in hardcover. I'll probably buy it anyway at some point, but I might not buy it quite so quickly at 14.01.
